Wow! I loved this book! SIEGE 1 has that feel of a big budget blockbuster movie, the kind that actually lives up to the hype. I love that Loki is playing such a big role in the Marvel Universe these days, and he really has his hands in this one! He has been manipulating Osborn these last few months, and now Osborn has the audacity to attempt an invasion of Asgard itself. But Thor won't take this lying down, and will find himself at odds with Iron Patriot and his Dark Avengers. Fantastic scene with Sentry and Thor, and the Dark Avengers pushing to take down the thunder god. The beautiful art of Olivier Coipel with Mark Morales inks really join with Brian Michael Bendis' incredible "screenplay" to bring this adventure to thrilling, exciting life! I have read this over several times, and am really aching for the next installment to see what happens after this issue's dramatic conclusion. This is one big event you dare not miss - for real!
