| I ordered the first trade the other day, since the series has gotten nothing but good reviews everywhere I've seen. |

Re: Scalped Volume One: Indian Country and Scalped Volume Two: Casino Boogie
This is just an incredible series.
The last time a Vertigo series hit me this hard was when I first picked up an issue of Preacher. It's always a good sign when you're not quite sure whether or not you actually like the main character. Each story is part of a larger piece, but still stands on its own. Jason Aaron has crafted and interesting and exciting story. He's one of the best writers in the biz. He makes every single character interesting and there is not black and white in his world, as it is all gray. I hope his duties as writer on other books like Wolverine don't hamper his ability to knock the ball out of the park on this book. |
